Taj Mahal HotelDescribed as a hotel where you should stay before you die we decided to check out and spend the friday night here prior to heading off to Matheran. It was rather nice but Alex got a room in the old part of the hotel which was amazing!Described as one of the most amazing hotels in the world - we spent a night in the Taj Mahal hotel. The rooms were pot luck with Alex getting the best in the old wing and I believe one of us got quite a rubbish one!xx18/09/2004 11:54:00/cms/cms.asp?page=/OffshoreInIndia/Trips Away/Trip to Matheran/Taj Mahal Hotelsupporting/offshoreinindia/photos/matheran/taj/taj1.jpgGateway to IndiaView from my room on the 15th Floor. Gateway to India

View from my room on the 15th Floor. Although through a mesh the Gateway looks extreemly impressive.

King size be and a half

This has to be the largest bed I have seen in the world.

 Did we need 6 rooms?

As Alex was admiring all the features of his room we all tried to cover up on of the massive beds.

 The evening meal

We enjoyed a meal in the resturant at the top of the Taj Mahal. The rumours of Shisha being smoked are completely untrue ;)

By popular demand - The Shisa

Force with my arm behind my back - yeah right! I took a puff from the Sisha. Now it was only the one puff wasn't it.
