Baga Market is described as one of the most famous in Goa. Held on a Saturday evening from 7pm-12pm we decided to pop by and pay it a visit on the way home.

The entrance to Baga Market

We passed what appeared to be a massive market on the way but continued to the renound Baga Market. The enterance hides the number of stalls inside that were trying to sell anything to everyone at Asda Price!

 View down the market

Another view of the market. Other good quipes from the sellers were to have a goose gander - want to see my rubbish - and most common was I give you great price.

 Argh for a better camera!

A photo for all the wrong reasons seems to turn out quite well even though not getting the desired effect ;0

 My purchases

I hated the bargaining thing that goes on here. I had Sham to thank for the Rose wood elephant and then tried my hardest with the paintings but had to pay a reasonable price. Best deal was my funky lampshade for £2.50 but Adam got a great shirt for a couple of quid!
